I'm back from RNOH after seeing Mr Calder. I had some xrays too and we looked at them in some detail. "It looks okay," says I. "No, it looks excellent!" he replied. "Oh good." I said. He'd like me to keep doing turning for another couple of days until the bottom green strut has reached the end of its thread, and that will hopefully make everything else strong and rigid. Three or so of the other struts are a bit wiggly so he hopes doing that will make them stop wiggling. Overall, I'm pleased, he's pleased, and I'll be more pleased when I've got to the end of the green strut. Turning is incredibly painful at the moment, as the bone has actually docked (about a week ago now).
I got a couple of photos of the xrays using my phone camera, so here they are!

This is the regenerate at the top of the tibia.

And this is the docking site at the ankle.
After this I just have to wait for a few months until it's fixed itself. No idea how long, but maybe June, it totally depends on how the regenerate is doing and I'm going back to a normal Wednesday clinic in four weeks.
