Clinic letter etc
Jul. 1st, 2011 06:07 pmThis one doesn't have any typos, amazingly.
I'm having a slightly frustrated period, lots of my friends spent the weekend in a field at Odyssey, an event I usually crew, and have mostly all come back saying how much fun it was. I just need to try to make the frustration into determination to do all this stuff I feel I'm missing as soon as I possibly can and concentrate on getting better. It's not easy.
I reviewed Ms F once more in clinic today. Recent CT scan shows crossing trabeculae between the tibia and the talus. At least the end is in sight.
She is walking well with her frame.
The plan is to see again in early August with an x-ray of tibia and ankle on arrival. This will be 3 months from her previous x-ray and I am hoping that the tibial regenerate will have consolidated sufficiently to consider removal of frame. We will then remove the frame and place her into plaster.
We will keep you informed of progress.
With kind regards
Mr Peter Calder
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
