Infection, round 2

freddiefragglesIt happened again. I got another infection. The pin that had looked a bit iffy last Sunday before I went swimming, but improved on Monday, developed a large blister just below it on Tuesday, popped itself on Wednesday and then it plateau'd and by Saturday Mum and I just weren't convinced enough that it wasn't infected. Started flucloxacillin on Saturday.
Flucloxacillin are large pills and I have to say I really dislike the stuff. It has an aroma that goes to the top of your nose as you take it and sometimes it makes my stomach feel like it's burning about half an hour after taking it. Oh, and it means I can't snack between meals, which is really rubbish because I tend to run out of energy a few hours after eating, even though all I really do is sit down most of the time.
