I came home yesterday afternoon. I am quite tired and have been having slight pain relief fail today but am managing it alright. I am due back for a strut change and x-ray later this month so that's ok. Mr Calder decided not to do a bone graft after all, so he just moved the foot to be in the right place and cleaned it all out ready for doing another twenty days of strut turning to push the bones together and encourage the fusion. He said it will be painful and I don't doubt that, having to make the bones crunch into each other is going to be really fun.
Nearly bedtime I think. I've been sleeping quite well really, all things considered.
