Stepping it up
It's been a while, I know. I was sort of waiting for my next clinic appointment letter to arrive but it hasn't yet and I've got quite a bit to catch up with.

The anterior deformity is beginning to fill itself in, rest of regenerate is looking much more solid than last time, three months ago.
So there you go, all caught up basically. I'll try not to leave it so long next time.
- I have new physio exercises from Emma, they're much more difficult! I guess I'd got used to the previous ones. Signed up to Fitocracy where I get points for doing exercise which is a pretty good motivator for me (small things, etc).
- I saw Mr Calder last week, he had a stinking cold and was miserable. However, he was very pleased with me and my x-rays (see below). I'm going again in 4 months but need to keep using the cast (unfortunately) but in general he was quite positive, pleased to see I'm much more mobile and doing swimming and walking. All these things will make it get better quicker.
- I'm almost able to start driving again, which is super-exciting. I went for a little drive with Mum around a big car park in Peterborough (I'm not on the insurance yet) and it was mostly ok, though it was raining so I didn't try an emergency stop and my left calf was beginning to complain from having to ride the clutch a bit.
- On not-leg stuff, I've spent quite a lot of the last two weeks sewing emoticons in fun colours for Mr X Stitch to hang at his stands in the upcoming shows, including this weekend's Stitch & Craft Show at Olympia. I'm pretty chuffed with the result and hope to go to the Hobbycraft show at the NEC next weekend to see them on the wall myself!
